How It Works
RF facial treatment works by quickly heating up the collagen strands in the skin tissue and causing contraction. As we age, our skin produces less collagen and the skin quality lessens. Oftentimes, the collagen strands are disorganized due to free radical damage. Our special radio frequency emitter is applied firmly against the skin which allows radio waves to get past the outer skin layers. This process delivers heat energy to the muscles and tissue beneath. In addition, the heat helps to contract these layers and penetrate deep into the skin promoting changes in the collagen structure.
How Many Treatments Are Required
After an assessment of your skin during the start of treatment, we can determine whether just a few or perhaps many treatments will be required for optimal results. This largely depends on the condition of the skin. Your original skin condition will determine the frequency of maintenance sessions in order to achieve positive results. Commonly the results can be very dramatic, however, they can initially be temporary. Multiple treatments are required over a short period of time to stimulate new collagen production and results that last longer. Positive results can be expected after 6 to 8 treatments and can be expected to last approximately 6 months to one year.
